This was used during my childhood days .. still used by most indonesian maids.

Differences between the traditional & conventional slings?

1. cooler material (aka sarong material)

2. multiple usage .. eventually when baby wearing is no longer required, can be used as sarong :)

3. no slings, no stretchy material, no buckles ..

4. cheaper!

Things to know:

This is slightly different compared to the sarongs sold in the local markets / supermarket.

Why?

Sarongs sold locally are "square" shaped and around 1meter long.

The traditional sarong slings are rectangular shaped and 2 meter long to accomodate baby wearing.

Not to worry for new mothers to babywearing, I'm more than willing to give you a hands-on "class" if interested.
